On course to boost wellbeing

Living Well Sefton’s partner Feelgood Factory is running two Think Differently, Cope Differently courses in February.

If you are feeling stressed, a bit low or having difficulty coping with things right now then this FREE five-week course could be what you need.

One course starts Thursday, 8 February at the Feelgood Factory in Netherton. While the other is at Woodvale Community Centre, Meadow Lane, Ainsdale on Wednesday, 21 February. Both courses run 10am to 12noon. Book through central number 0300 323 0181 or email: LWS@seftoncvs.org.uk

The course provides the skills and tools to help overcome worries and challenges that lead to negative and unhelpful thinking. People will be able to:

Find ways of managing anxiety and negative thinking

Set goals and learn problem solving techniques

Can you help someone with dementia keep doing the things they love?

Alzheimer’s Society will be holding two drop-in volunteer recruitment events for its new service called Side by Side, which will provide one-to-one volunteers for people living with dementia to help them stay active and involved in their communities.
