The hub, based on Norwood Road, is hosting a Volunteer Speed Matching event on Thursday, 1 February from 11am to help pair up budding volunteers with a role that best suits them.

Philip Blocksidge, Southport Community Centre Development Manager, said: “Are you thinking about volunteering, but not sure what it’s all about or what you can do?

“Come along to our Volunteer Speed Match event! It’s a fast, informal and fun way to find your ideal volunteer match.”
