Meet new friends at social group

A social group for people who have experienced disabilities or mental health issues meets every Tuesday at the Shakespeare Centre in Southport.

The group, led by charity Stepping Stones, offers Sefton residents the opportunity to meet new friends and take part in social activities.

The group meets every Tuesday 1-4pm and Thursday 2-4pm to watch films, take part in arts and crafts sessions and compete in darts, snooker and bowling.

There are also meetings held monthly where participants are invited to discuss ideas for future outings and projects.

Stepping Stones is part of Sefton Advocacy, an independent charity offering adults in Sefton a free advocacy service to support them with their concerns.

To find out more about Stepping Stones call Mike on 07599 093460.

Stepping Stones is supporting the ‘30 Days of Sefton in Mind’ Campaign – to spread the word about local services and activities available to people in Sefton to improve their mental health.
