Kindfulness Coffee Club on Knowsley Road, Bootle, is a small local charity that wants a community connected by kindfulness. It is a friendly place, striving to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Ian, who goes to the cafe regularly, said “Kindfulness Coffee Club has been a supporting, caring, friendly place for me. Since the death of my wife through cancer my mental health issues have become worse.
“By attending here I have enjoyed making new friends through various things the cafe provides such as walk and talk, shared reading etc. The cafe provided me with a safe space where I can relax in an informal and warm environment.”
They offer a variety of groups and services that promote emotional and social wellbeing to help reduce social isolation and loneliness, to build self-confidence and worth. It is a place where everybody is welcome, you can have a cuppa and a chat.
Drop-in sessions are back open, Monday to Friday 12noon-1.30pm for free tea and coffee, good company and an understanding non-judgemental listening ear.
