Alzheimer’s Society Sefton is bringing a pop-up Memory Café to Bootle to help support people living with dementia.
Staff from Alzheimer’s Society will be on hand to offer professional support and advice and can help people find out more about local support services.
A spokesperson from Alzheimer’s Society Sefton says: “If you are worried about your memory, have dementia or care for someone with this condition, come and join us for a chat and a cuppa.
“There is no need to deal with dementia on your own, we are here to help. Worrying changes nothing, talking changes everything.”
As Sefton continues to celebrate its Year of Friendship, events like this are a great way for those who may be feeling lonely or socially isolated to meet new people.
The café will be based at the Strand By Me shop in Bootle Strand Shopping Centre on Friday, 29 November from 10am to 12pm.
