Healthwatch Sefton is an independent champion for people using local health and social care services within the borough of Sefton. The team listens to what people like about health services, what could be improved and they share these views with those with the power to make change happen.
Healthwatch Sefton is now looking to recruit an experienced Engagement Officer to join their team.
Key duties will include the recruitment of members to Healthwatch Sefton, facilitating and servicing the Healthwatch locality models and identifying ways of gathering local people’s experiences of health and social care services.
Other duties will include: liaising with a range of stakeholders; visiting hospitals and other social care locations; and preparing reports, presentations and statistical information.
The successful applicant must have a proven track record in this field of work, together with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and organisations. Strong organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
