We are pleased to announce that the sixth round of the popular Community Resilience Grant is now open for applications.
We are inviting community groups in Sefton to apply for a ‘Food with Friends’ grant with amounts up to £2,000 available for projects that focus on healthy eating which help to bring people together.
Individuals, with help from a Living Well partner, can apply for amounts of £500.
The grant offer also coincides with the relaunch of Living Well Sefton itself.
At a celebration event attended by Matt Ashton, the Director of Public Health for Sefton, partners and stakeholders heard how the service has made a positive difference to hundreds of people’s lives and the ways this is going to be built on in the next few years.

“We are delighted to carry on supporting people throughout Sefton to make healthy lifestyle choices and the ‘Food With Friends’ grant means that more people will be able to benefit too,” said Karen Nolan, manager of Living Well Sefton.
Living Well Sefton has another reason to celebrate after recently winning the Health Partners category at the first NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) Awards as well as being shortlisted for a prestigious LGC (Local Government Chronicle) award in the Best Service Delivery Model category.
