Living Well Sefton is marking the World Health Organisation’s 70th birthday with a wellbeing event on World Health Day.
The wellbeing organisation will be outside the Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle this Saturday between 10.30am and 2.30pm providing mini health checks, offering healthy snacks and chatting about activities people can join.
There is also a postcard competition for people to enter with a chance to win £50 in shopping vouchers.

The theme of this year’s World Health Day is universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere and the World Health Organisation stresses that it was “founded on the principle that all people should be able to realise their right to the highest possible level of health”.
For those who can’t make the World Health Day event there is always the Living Well mentors to contact who can support people in making healthy lifestyle choices. Contact the team on 0300 323 0181.
