The Plaza Cinema in Waterloo is showing its next Dementia Friendly Film Screening on Thursday 19 October.
The community cinema is showing Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the film that established Marilyn Monroe’s name and her career in Hollywood, with doors opening at 1.30pm and the film starting at 2pm.
Christine Physick from the Plaza says: “As always, we will take a short break for refreshments, included in the price, and aim to finish the screening around 4.00pm.
“Low level lighting will be maintained throughout the auditorium during the screening, and the film will be played at a reduced volume.”
